Cates African Ministries dba HIS Kingdom Builders International is family-owned and operated in New Braunfels, TX. Since it was founded in 2008 we have made Ten trips to Liberia.  We have established a ministry to children at the  New Life Christian School and the Downtown School.  We have also established a program to provide reading and sunglasses to people at 5 different churches and villages.  We have some very generous donors and we are able to supply the children with toothbrushes and toothpaste donated by several dentist.   We have also been able to help with building projects at three churches.  Wells are being drilled to provide clean water to several locations.
We believe building relationships is what is important and the people in Liberia are part of our family.
Ken and Paula Cates had been married for 34 years and have 5 children and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.  Ken was an Archbishop in the Lutheran Orthodox Church.  Ken Passed away on May 17,2018 and Paula will continue the work in Liberia

His Kingdom Builders International is focused in two ways; first on the physical church, which is to provide a proper place for God's people to worship HIM  and care for the needs of HIS people,second, winning souls for Christ.
In Liberia the Churches needs are great after many years of revolution.  Buildings are needed from the ground up and many are in need of repair.  They make their own bricks but the supplies are very costly.
This aspect of the ministry will require great funding from God;s people and some to go as physical builders.
God has started this Ministry and has a plan for it to succeed.  That is for 1000 people to be monthly supporters in the amount of $5 to $10. This would provide the needed to get started with the initial teams travel, materials, housing and sustenance.
